For a comprehensive series that explores ways of making teaching in the digital domain more accessible, we have produced multiple media formats, including animated concept videos, live-action videos and comics.

Radionuclides
For a blended learning course on radionucleids, we produced a video-series including case study videos, on-location shoots and animations.
Swissuniversities P-8:
Open Educational Resources (OER)
For a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on the topic of Open Educational Resources (OER), offered by Swissuniversities P-8, we have co-designed and produced 3 videos, 4 two-pager comics and 4 podcast episodes.
UN Peace Mission
We created expert interviews for an interactive exhibition on UN peace missions, highlighting key lessons and Switzerland’s role, with multilingual content and a quiz.
D-USYS: Digitsoil
We created two short, fully animated concept videos about how enzymatic activity affects crop growth. The videos premiered at Scientifica 2023 and were also shown at Olma 2023 as well as in various lecture formats at ETH.
D-USYS: Sharing Agroecological innovations
Together with D-USYS, we are currently producing two animated explainer videos and a set of cards exploring methods and tools that help researchers communicate agroecological innovations. In addition, we have offered four in-person teachings on topics such as infographics and storytelling in science communication.
D-MAVT: Experiential Learning
For an innovative learning course on core competencies such as teamwork, feedback, critical thinking and learning by doing – all explored through the lens of scientific writing – we have co-designed one animated video, ten animated gifs for Moodle and a “choose your own adventure map” that serves as an overview of the course structure.
D-USYS: eDNA – MOOC
Media products: six visualizations explaining the different phases of the course and one overview pictures to guide students in the whole course.
D-USYS: Soil Explore
“Soil Explore” is an interactive online platform for soil education. For this project, we are currently developing an interactive website using UX design and incorporating illustrations; in addition, we are producing two animated concept videos on the topic of soil erosion.
D-USYS: Open Access Audiovisual Archive in Animal Sciences
This project aims to create an open-access audiovisual archive for animal sciences, featuring our immersive educational videos to enhance student learning and support ETH lecturers.

Throughout the year, the ETH Domain Data Management Campus will publish 10 modules on Open Research Data and Research Data Management. To provide an engaging and captivating starting point for each module, we are currently producing several videos and illustrations.
